The Journal of Histotechnology publishes original articles, technical notes and case studies that include a diverse scope of disciplines, all related to the study of living tissues. Topics include, but are not limited to, discussion of pathology techniques that allow disease diagnosis or treatment decisions; assessment of tissue responses to medical implants toward implant design improvement; presentation of new techniques to process and analyze engineered tissues for regenerative medicine application; and discussion of medical case studies. Articles dealing with quality control, tricks of the trade, and educational or administrative techniques directly related to these disciplines are also published. The Journal also provides National Society for Histotechnology members with content for earning continuing education credits. A Journal Writing Partnership Program pairs skilled scientific writers with authors who would like guidance through the manuscript development process.
